Custom homes
Single and double storey residences designed for your block and the way you live, then built by the team that designed them.

Custom new homes
Every plan starts with the block: orientation, slope, outlook and the way you live. From there we design a single or double storey home that works today and adapts to what comes next.

Knockdown and rebuild
Keep the street, the school and the neighbours. We manage demolition, permits and the new home on the block you already own, so the only thing that changes is the house.

Questions we are often asked
What is it like to build with Blessing Homes?
One philosophy: built with trust. A fixed-price contract, clear timelines, the Registered Building Surveyor’s inspection report at each mandatory stage, and one point of contact from the first conversation to handover.
Do you offer warranties?
Every home is covered by domestic building insurance and the statutory warranties that apply to all registered builders in Victoria.
How do I get started?
Start with a conversation. We talk through your block, your budget and what you want from the home, then outline the next steps: site assessment, concept design and a clear estimate.
Do you build townhouses or duplexes?
Yes: townhouses and duplexes for investors, downsizers and multi-dwelling developments. The Shearwater 32 duplex in our portfolio is a recent example.
What is included in a complete build?
We build turnkey: design and documentation through to permits, construction, fixtures and fittings, so you can simply move in. Fixed-price contracts and home-and-land packages are available.
How much does it cost to build a custom home in Melbourne?
It depends on the block, the design and your selections. After a consultation and site assessment we provide an itemised estimate, with provisional sums and allowances shown separately, and build under a fixed-price contract.
Are custom homes more expensive than project homes?
Not necessarily. A home designed for your block and your family often avoids costly variations later. We work to your budget from day one.
How long does it take?
It depends on council timing and the design. Each stage is planned up front so the build runs to time, and you hear about any change before it affects the program.
How do you ensure quality during construction?
Premium materials and skilled trades, with the Registered Building Surveyor’s inspection at each mandatory stage. The inspection reports are provided to you for peace of mind.
What areas do you service?
The Melbourne region, from our base in Doreen.
Can you help with a knockdown and rebuild?
Yes. If you love your location but not your house, we design and build a new home on the block you already own.
